The Early Bird is a comfortable modern pub, attractively designed in the form of a Kentish oasthouse, conveniently located not far from the M20. Its attractive stone-floored bar is the main gathering point, while there is a pool table and darts board close by, and there is also a conservatory with various board games – for both children and adults (children welcome in the conservatory and restaurant areas). For summer there is a pretty courtyard with wooden seating and planters of flowers – and a smoking area adjoins.

This is an ideal venue for sports fans as there are five screens showing all the Sky Sports events you could wish for, and usually a footie conversation to join in with, especially as the pub sponsors a thriving local team.

The separate restaurant serves good pub food, and is often used as a venue for wakes and parties. In addition there is a function room upstairs, suitable for a variety of events including business meetings.
