Coach & Horses, London

Coach & Horses

The Coach and Horses, the oldest pub in Mayfair established in 1744, used to be a coaching inn providing accommodation to the aristocracy.

It is now a Grade II listed building and still retains some of the historic features such as cellars and an old-fashioned coldroom,

It is unique in that it is now the only traditional pub in an area which has become one of the most prestigious in London, with its wealth of upmarket car showrooms, designer fashion houses and boutique shops.

As well as Shepherd Neame's fine beers, this CAMRA listed pub serves an extensive menu of traditional pub dishes – plenty of pies, fish and chips, juicy sausages, vegetarian options, all at keen prices and with good service.
