A warm welcome awaits at this friendly local village pub which dates back to 1700.

The pub has been in the Good Beer Guide for the past 14 years and has won awards for its cellar, the 'small garden of the year', and as a community pub. The pub serves good wholesome pub food and three cask ales are usually available, alongside a good wine selection.

Country, folk and swing musicians perform live and The Smugglers Arms hosts quiz nights and other activities include darts, pool, dominoes, cards and board games. The pub also sponsors darts and pool teams.

There is a function room and licensees Jacqueline and Colin Sutton can cater for wakes, meetings and other events, by arrangement.
