The Beacon Court Tavern in Gillingham is more than just a pub – it is also a music venue.
Well known for the variety it hosts, there is live music at least twice weekly, with anything from rock to tribute bands on the bill. Even famous names including jazz singer Jamie Cullum and ska legends Bad Manners have played here.
For something different the pub also holds bi-monthly burlesque nights, while regular comedy and karaoke nights are due to start in late 2010. The Beacon Court Tavern is close to central Gillingham and a short walk from the High Street and station.
A large function room with space for up to 150 people means it can comfortably cater for birthday parties, wedding receptions and other gatherings. There is a courtyard garden with a small lawned area, and inside, customers can enjoy a game of pool, darts or cards.
