Situated on the edge of the village of Farncombe, The Three Lions offers a hospitable welcome to those looking for fine ales, food and great live music.
The popular pub serves a range of hand-pulled Shepherd Neame ales and continental lagers. The relaxed atmosphere is complemented by a roaring log fire and an enclosed beer garden.
The Three Lions boasts a fascinating history: an ale house has stood on the site for more than 300 years. Rumour has it that the pub is haunted, no doubt due to its dark past - previously known as the World’s End, it lays close to a strip of open meadow by the River Wey called the Lammas Lands where those condemned to the gallows were hanged. The bodies were often laid in the pub’s cellar to await collection.
