The King and Queen sits on the High Street of the town of Edenbridge and close to the River Eden. A half peg-tiled cottagey pub with a cosy, beamed interior, this pub represents a traditional local.
Thought to date from the 16th century, The Pub offers a friendly warm and comfortable welcome from the Owners and their staff, with oak beams and comfy leather sofas by the open fire.
The New owners are hoping to establish a varied food menu offering traditional pub favourites and Sunday Roasts.
They are already establishing a good clientile with their excellent bitters drawing them in.
Just up the road is Eden Valley Museum, with Edenbridge Golf and Country Club a short drive to the north west. A little further out to the east is Hever Golf Club. Other attractions close by are Hever Castle, Chartwell, Penshurst Place and Royal Tunbridge Wells for good shopping facilities.
