Walking
Head on the pathway over the cliffs from St. Margarets, continue along the beach for a warm welcome at the Zetland Arms. Alternatively, start on promenade at Deal or Walmer Castle (free parking). Continue along traffic-free seafront walkway with adjacent cycle path for about a mile. At the end of Wellington Parade stop at the Zetland Arms for a well earned pint of bitter and a crab sandwich.
By car
Coming from Deal follow signs for Kingsdown, pass Walmer Castle keep going along Cliffe Rd. Just before the road bears right into Kingsdown Village turn left onto North Rd, follow to the end and turn left for free parking at the Zetland Arms.
From Dover follow the A258 towards Deal, at Ringwould Village turn Right (signposted 'Kingsdown') onto Ringwould Rd. Follow through Kingsdown to the bottom of Upper Street, turn Right onto North Rd and follow to the end for free parking
