The Telegraph is a traditional pub, dating back at least 200 years, in the coastal town of Deal. This is a real pub with a regular clientele of locals who come for great beer, friendly community spirit and to play games – the pub supports several darts and pool teams and a football team, there are always cards and board games available.
The bar is a convivial place with an open fire. The licensee claims, with some justification, to have the best jukebox in Deal with a huge range of music ranging from the 50s right through to current hits. In addition, live music is hosted regularly, ranging from karaokes to 4/5 piece bands.
