Janet, Andrea and Aimee would like to welcome you to the Plough and Harrow in Tilmanstone. We are a traditional English family run village pub, which is easy to reach as we are situated just from the A256. Whether you are a rambler, cyclist, walker, motor cyclist, tourist or a native to the area, you will feel the warm, friendly happy atmosphere as you walk through the doors.

You can bring your children along as there is a bouncy castle in the huge garden, weather permitting. However if you prefer to stay inside, then we have a selection of games for children and adults. Additionally there is a good selection of books, and if you want  take any with you then just put some money in the charity box. We also have a dart board and a juke box which plays something for everyone.

We welcome dogs, with their owners, and horses. So if you are out walking or riding pop in.

We pride ourselves on our freshly prepared and home cooked food. We source our food locally, meats from local farms and the Fish from the boats in Folkestone. The fruit and vegetables are also from local producers. As the food is all prepared and cooked to order you will have to wait a short time while it is prepared. However, this will give you time to maybe have a beer from the cask, such as Masterbrew or Whitsable Bay or a glass of wine.

We have a large bar area and huge garden so there is plenty of space, should you be in group of friends or just on your own and wanting some quiet time. In the winter there is a large log burner for you to sit around and enjoy.

We have large grounds and enjoy welcoming people from around the globe with their  Motor Homes. The pub is just 10 minutes from Dover Docks and 20 minutes from the Tunnel. So instead of parking up on the roadside, come and park here, for free, in a nice, safe and quiet environment.
