DARTFORD

Dartford, on the outskirts of London next to the River Thames. A commuter town really, famous for the Datford Tunnel which links the M25 across the Thames.

Still some of its past left including a gatway from a palace, a Georgian inn, and some timbered houses.

The church has a Norman tower and the tomb of Sir John Spielman, Englands first paper maker, who died in 1626.
