This vibrant city centre pub is a hidden gem, freshly redecorated and under new managment. It is full of traditional character mixed with contempary flair. It is located in a picturesque street, not far from the main shopping areas and station, yet away from the major hustle and bustle. The secret mezzanine and basement garden and private function bar are one of Brighton's best kept secrets whether it is for a BBQ in the summer or a glass of mulled wine under it's heaters in the winter.
Alongside Shepherd Neame’s great range of beers, we offer a great range of Thai tapas using locally sourced sustanable food. See our menu for section for more detail. The bar has a pool table which is always free of charge, and two open fires for cold winter’s evenings. Live music is part of our events calendar with Small Jazz Club twice a month, on a Thursday evening.
The downstairs function bar, suitable for up to 60 people, is comfortable and attractive, and is a popular venue for parties, wedding receptions and meetings by local businessesand community groups such as writing, poetry, comedy clubs as well as local political groups.
We really look forward to seeing you at The Caxton Arms. Please let us know your feedback as we are always looking to improve.
