The Spitfire is a stunning contemporary pub in the heart of the modern Kings Hill development, built on the former Battle of Britain RAF base at West Malling.
A popular lunch venue for the Kings Hill’s business community and families alike, the pub is designed on two levels, with a mix of comfortable seating areas, a feature fireplace, conservatory dining and a second floor dining and function area, overlooking Liberty Square.
Outside, there is a large, enclosed garden with ample seating, and a children’s play area.
Voted Shepherd Neame Pub of the Year in 2007, The Spitfire is also named in the CAMRA Gateway to Kent pub guide.
A choice of Kentish cask ales is available, served in peak condition and the pub offers a good selection of wines.
The Spitfire hosts an annual summer all-day music festival and is used as a base by many community groups, including football teams, Rotary, Kent Speakers and parent teacher associations.
Outside there is parking for 30 cars and there is access for disabled customers.
