This historic town-centre pub dates back to the Victorian heydays of the railways and is handily situated close to Sittingbourne Station. Recently having undergone complete refurbishment, it is a popular modern and vibrant place but still retains many of its original features and is full of character.
As well as a great range of Shepherd Neame beers, the Globe and Engine offers good bar food and a variety of entertainment. As well as a new dartboard and pool table, customers are welcome to settle down to traditional pub games such as cards, cribbage and dominoes. Also known for its live music sessions, the pub hosts an eclectic range of performers including jazz, rock, pop and blues musicians and even, on occasion, a string quartet. There is also a free jukebox every weekend and pool is free on Sundays.
