Grove Ferry Inn

Grove Ferry Inn

For wonderful riverside views in a relaxing location, a visit to the Grove Ferry Inn is a must. The pub’s idyllic setting, with the River Stour running past, is just one its many attractions.

Built in 1831, the Grove Ferry Inn takes its name from a hand-drawn ferry that crossed the river in front of the building. The waterside setting continues to provide inspiration, with the pub’s large garden and decked area overlooking the river, on which regular boat trips are held.

The garden is also ideal for families as it includes a children’s play area.

The stylish 19th century building offers a wide selection of meals, courtesy of chef Jason Rowlands and featuring locally sourced ingredients, as well as a range of Shepherd Neame beers, fine wines and stylish accommodation.

Entertainment at the Grove Ferry Inn includes live music every Friday night, ranging from jazz to acoustic music.

Its function room can be hired for weddings and parties, while conference facilities, such as whiteboards and a projector, means it is also ideal for meetings.
