The British Queen is the kind of pub we would all like to have as our local; a handsome traditional place, built at the turn of the 19th century. It is conveniently situated close to Maidstone’s Mote Park and a short walk from the bustling town centre.
The large beer garden, comfortably seating 30 people, with patio area and gazebo is great for the warmer months. In winter the bar is warm, comfortable and inviting. A pool table and darts board are available for customers’ entertainment, and ample portions of good traditional pub fare are served.
All the popular favourites like jumbo sausages, scampi and chips, filled jacket potatoes and more, with a classic roast lunch on Sundays.
Live music has been introduced on most Saturdays, usually popular rock/pop, from retro 60s, 70s or 80s in style right up to current bands.
The British Queen also has a choice of two rooms for all sorts of functions, catering for up to 30 people each, and buffet-style food can be provided on request.
