The Royal Mail at Lydd has recently been given a major refurbishment. The pub has been redecorated throughout, with new carpeting and a freshly painted exterior. Its four letting rooms have also been refurbished.
There is a cosy lounge bar with sofas and a games room. Along with food, accommodation, fine ales and a host of games such as pool and darts, the Royal Mail hosts curry nights on Thursdays and Fish and Chips suppers on Fridays. The refurbishment has seen the pub return to the heart of the community in Lydd.
