Harrow Inn

Harrow Inn

This traditional English village pub has been given a touch of French flair by licensees Martin and Sophie and is widely recognised for its excellent food, award-winning beers and welcoming atmosphere.

Wooden floors and beams, roaring log fire and pleasant garden add to the friendly ambience at The Harrow Inn.

The 40-seater restaurant serves fresh home-made food with a definite French influence. The menu includes delicious specials such as grilled scallop, braised pig cheeks and cuisses de grenouille, commonly known as frogs’ legs.

The pub is central to this community and hosts a number of local group meetings including the popular Wednesday Motorbike Night. Bikers are treated to their own menu of tasty favourites such as Cumberland sausage and mash, smoked haddock fishcakes and char-grilled burgers. The local WI also meets here.

Known as the highest village in the county of Kent, Knockholt is an attractive place to stop and local legend has it that William the Conqueror watered his horse at the dew pond.
