Railway Hotel

Railway Hotel

The Railway Hotel has welcomed guests to Faversham for more than 150 years and continues to provide the same warm and friendly reception as it always has.

The charming 19th century building offers comfortable accommodation, fine dining and the appeal of a traditional pub where customers can enjoy a range of Shepherd Neame ales and fine wines in a classically-styled interior or around an impressive Victorian bar.

While the hotel’s restaurant and rooms provides a great dining experience and pleasing accommodation respectively, the bar offers a quiet respite, unfettered by modern distractions. A bar billiards table provides traditional entertainment and there is also a courtyard area. There are weekly quiz nights and wine evenings.

Situated in the town centre, and directly opposite the railway station, the Railway Hotel is an ideal base from which to explore historic Faversham. The Shepherd Neame brewery and its visitor centre is only a short walk away. The city of Canterbury and its many attractions – such as the cathedral and The Canterbury Tales – are also within easy reach.
