The Northern Tavern is a smartly decorated town centre pub close to the park, railway station and main shopping area of Brighton. The ambience is clean, light and airy with comfortable leather sofas in which to lounge. Children are most welcome in the family friendly bar between 12pm and 6pm with a whole array of games available to occupy them.
Outside is a garden with decked al fresco seating area, even Mediterranean in feel, with heating and lighting, and bright white walls and planters. The food resonates with this, being pub fare with a Spanish influence.
The function room, with its own bar, can be used for large groups of diners, or hired out for any kind of party, gathering or meeting.
There are plenty of events to keep things lively in the evenings – live music every Thursday, karaoke and curry night on Friday, and a disco on Sunday.
