The Five Bells has recently undergone an extensive renovation and now boasts an oak floor, new decor and a log burner.
Located at the heart of the ancient village of Seal, near Sevenoaks, the pub was originally three cottages, which were knocked through into one building in the early 18th century.
Traditional games such as shove ha’penny, cribbage and shut the box are on offer, while more modern pursuits, including a monthly quiz and weekly bingo nights, are held. A different blues band plays live once a month and parties can be catered for. Situated within a conservation area, the pub has benches out the front from which to admire the surroundings.
Inside, an inglenook fireplace and low ceilings gives it an old-world feel. Although there is no car park, there is plenty of on-street parking nearby.
