The Rose Inn is an imposing and handsome old building, originally a coaching inn and the habitual watering-hole for the horse-drovers travelling to market in Ashford along the Faversham road; today it still serves all those travelling along the same route.
A warm welcome is assured here, indeed The Rose has won a ‘Best Welcome’ award for its hospitality, and whether it be a quick drink, a leisurely few hours away from it all, or a hearty meal, The Rose Inn will provide.
The food served is tasty and traditional: ploughman’s, sandwiches, fish and chips, burgers, and jacket potatoes, all of fantastic value and served in ample portions. The 22-seater restaurant is also available as a function room for wedding receptions, wakes and parties of all kinds.
