An old-world pub with low ceilings and an inglenook fireplace at the heart of the ancient village of Seal, near Sevenoaks.

By car: Turn off the A25 at Seal into School Lane, then take the first right into Church Road. The pub is 75 yards along on the left.

Nearest station: Bat and Ball outside Seal is a 25-minute walk away. Or Sevenoaks station itself is a little further.

Bus route: Buses between Sevenoaks and Gravesend, Meopham and Borough Green all pass through the village. They stop on the A25, from where it is a three-minute walk to the pub.
