Shepherd Neame Ltd Director/PDMR Shareholding

The following share transactions have been notified to the Company and are reported accordingly:

The Company was informed on 6 April 2016 by Mr George Barnes that he had acquired 510 ordinary shares at a price of £11.70 per share and his wife, Mrs Amanda Barnes, had acquired 500 ordinary shares at a price of £11.65 per share. As a result of these acquisitions, the beneficial interest in the Company’s shares held by Mr Barnes and his connected parties increased from 38,082 ordinary shares (0.26%) to 39,092 ordinary shares (0.26%).

The Company was informed on 6 April 2016 by Mr Bill Brett that his wife, Mrs Rachel Brett, had disposed of 160 ordinary shares for nil consideration. As a result of this disposal, the beneficial interest in the Company’s shares held by Mr Brett and his connected parties decreased from 15,895 ordinary shares (0.11%) to 15,735 ordinary shares (0.11%).

The Company was informed on 8 April 2016 by Mr Jonathan Neame, that he had transferred 7,000 ordinary shares to his wife, Mrs Lucilla Neame, for nil consideration. This transfer results in no change to the beneficial interest in the Company’s shares held by Mr Neame and his connected parties, which remains at 152,074 ordinary shares (1.02%).

As previously advised in January, the Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Hilary Riva as a non-executive director, with immediate effect. Hilary is a non-executive director at Shaftesbury plc, ASOS plc, and London & Partners Limited. She is a director of the Alexander Centre Trust C.I.C. and was previously a director of the Ship Management Company (Faversham) Limited. Other than the above there are no further disclosures required under Rule 70 and paragraph 21 of Appendix 1 of the ISDX Growth Market Rules for Issuers.
