There’s something for everyone on offer at Shepherd Neame this spring, from fantastic comedy and great live music to delicious beer and food matching events. We round up the major events taking place from January to April.

The Old Brewery Store Comedy Club

Enjoy an evening of laughter at The Old Brewery Store. The brewery’s events venue hosts a comedy night on the first Thursday of every month, offering a platform for local, budding comedians to showcase their talents. The evenings are open to over 18s only.

When: Doors open at 6.30pm and the show starts at 8pm on Thursday, February 4, Thursday, March 3 and Thursday, April 7.

Hop Festival 2015

Hop Festival Fundraiser

Three acclaimed musical acts spanning a range of genres are coming together to raise money for this year’s Faversham Hop Festival. Folk group Green Diesel and rock band Creek, both hailing from Faversham, will be joined by award-winning Staffordshire-born country singer and songwriter Narn. All three acts are veteran Hop Festival performers, and the fundraiser promises to be a very special event.

Brewery Tour and Ale Samplers’ Supper

Take an 80 minute evening tour of the brewery, before enjoying a tutored tasting of Kentish ales and speciality lagers. This will be followed by a two-course, home-cooked supper accompanied by a pint of your choice.

When: Friday, February 5; Friday, February 19; Friday, March 4; Friday, March 18, Friday, April 1; Friday, April 15; Friday, April 29

Beer & Food Matching Evening

Explore the world of beer with this special six-course dinner, hosted by one of the brewery’s beer experts. Guests will learn about seven beers in a variety of styles, and enjoy a delicious meal designed to complement their flavours, prepared using the finest, locally sourced ingredients.

When: 7pm on Saturday, February 20 and Saturday, April 23.

Tickets: £52.50 per person. Advance booking is essential.

The Take That Experience

Don’t miss your chance to see The Take That Experience when they return to The Old Brewery Store this spring. The acclaimed five-piece tribute group have performed throughout Europe for more than six years, wowing audiences with their authentic vocals and energetic dance routines. The boys will be performing Take That classics from the 1990s such as Back For Good and Relight My Fire, along with more recent hits including Patience, Shine and These Days.

Their previous performance at The Old Brewery Store proved a sell-out success, so early booking is advised.
