    The snow arrived in Kent at the start of the week and has certainly given a "festive" feel to the county. Despite all the traffic chaos almost everyone made it into the brewery. Amazingly there has been no interuption to production. Our drays were unable to deliver yesterday it was so dangerous, however they have almost caught up today and will deliver all outstanding orders tomorrow.

  • Football team gets kit off for charity

    A football team from The Aviator pub in Sheerness has shed its kit in support of a national cancer charity.The players dispensed with most of their clothes for a 2011 calendar to be sold in aid of Macmillan Nurses. One shot saw them bare all, though each player’s modesty was tastefully preserved thanks to judicially placed sporting equipment.

  • Five Bells win seal of approval

    A popular village pub has celebrated its £18,000 refurbishment from brewers Shepherd Neame with the launch of a lunchtime menu.Licensee John McGowan and his partner Roz Kane are marking the official launch of the new look at the Five Bells in Seal with a cheese and wine evening on December 2.
