  • Riverside Pub Provides Local Employment Boost

    A total of 10 new employees have been taken on at riverside pub The Anchor at Yalding following its recent acquisition by Britain’s oldest brewer Shepherd Neame. The 14th century thatch roofed pub is situated on the River Medway, a few minutes from the village of Yalding near Maidstone, and was taken over by the Faversham-based brewery at the start of July. The Anchor is being run by Chris Peach,
