It is now the beginning of March, Christmas and the New Year break are distant memories and the shops are full of Easter eggs and hot cross buns.
There are clear signs that spring is near, snow drops are blooming, daffodils aren’t far behind (although the mild December confused some enough to bloom back then), we have had the first drought warnings of the year with the threat of a hose pipe ban and Early Bird is now brewed and available in our pubs.
