Dating back to the early 19th century, the historic Shepherd Neame pub is only a short stroll from the seafront, and has a covered courtyard garden to enjoy during the summer months, along with a log burner inside the pub, creating a cosy atmosphere when the weather is chilly.

  • National Recognition For Trio Of Shepherd Neame Pubs

    Three Shepherd Neame pubs have been shortlisted as finalists in this year’s Great British Pub Awards. They were chosen from hundreds of pubs from across the UK that entered the prestigious national competition, which has been running for more than a decade. The Compasses in Crundale near Canterbury is one of six shortlisted for Best Food Pub.
