A total of 50 pubs – nearly 20% of the 299 in Shepherd Neame’s tenanted estate - have already taken up the offer in its first year, and on average, each sells 600 cups of coffee a month.

    Britain’s oldest brewer Shepherd Neame has acquired two well-known pubs in Surrey and Berkshire. The Inn on the Pond at Nutfield near Redhill in Surrey, and The Ostrich in Colnbrook, Berkshire, near Heathrow Airport, will operate as part of the brewery’s managed estate.

    Celebrate the start of the new year with a pint of Shepherd Neame’s new look Amber Ale. First brewed in 2009, the golden brown seasonal ale has undergone a complete redesign to give it a more eye-catching, contemporary appearance. It now has a square, orange pump clip illustrated with an atmospheric scene of one of Kent’s most famous landmarks, Leeds Castle near Maidstone.
