• Pub of the Week: The Grove Ferry, Canterbury

    This week’s pub is the incredible Grove Ferry Inn located in the Stodmarsh Nature Reserve, on the beautiful River Stour - just 7 minutes from historic Canterbury’s city centre. The pub was originally built in 1831 and takes its name from a hand drawn ferry that once crossed the river in front of the pub.

This means that the beer in this pub is being independently and regularly tested by a Cask Marque beer inspector to make sure the beer is of the highest quality.
