  • Folk Concert to Raise Funds for Faversham Hop Festival

    Three Kent folk groups are teaming up for a one-off gig at The Old Brewery Store in Faversham to raise funds for the town’s Hop Festival. Faversham’s own six-piece innovative folk band Green Diesel; Canterbury-based folk/pop acoustic duo High Tide; and The Narratones from the Isle of Sheppey, who perform modern rock with a vintage twist, will be performing on Saturday, February 21.

  • OAPs Start the New Year with Free Festive Feast

    Christmas may be over for another year, but the festive spirit was still flowing at The Queens Head in Boughton-under-Blean on Wednesday, January 14. A total of 88 pensioners from the village enjoyed a free three-course Christmas dinner at the Shepherd Neame pub, thanks to a host of donations from the local community.
