It has been organised by the Rye Ukulele Experiment, a group of ukulele enthusiasts based in the town, and more than a dozen other bands from Kent and Sussex have already signed up to join them in performing at the event.

  • Pub Fun Day Raises £4,000 for Children's Charity

    A day of wacky fundraising activities at a village pub in Kent raised £4,000 for a children’s charity. Shepherd Neame pub The Saddler in Minster hosted the event, organised by village resident Etta Bonugli as her 16-year-old daughter Isi has Rett Syndrome - a rare neurodevelopmental disorder usually diagnosed in girls around their first birthday, which is currently incurable.
