  • Pub Karaoke Contest Raises Over £7,000 for Children's Charity

    A month-long karaoke competition at The Telegraph pub in Deal raised over £7,000 for the Make A Wish Foundation. Dawn James, licensee at the Shepherd Neame pub in Hamilton Road, launched the event in November. A total of 15 customers entered the first round, which was judged by Dawn, along with local music enthusiasts and Telegraph regulars Alan Herbert and Bruce Adams.

  • Constructive dialogue needed to promote confidence in pubs legislation
