  • New Look for Dorking's Oldest Pub

    Dorking’s oldest pub, the Kings Arms, has new licensees and a new look. Believed to be the oldest building in the town, dating back to 1405, the Shepherd Neame pub has been taken on by licensees Gurdeep Manku and Rosie Adams. The couple met eight years ago while working at a London pub, and as Rosie was originally from Dorking, they moved back in 2008 when starting a family. The pair became licens

    An employee at the Royal Albion Hotel in Broadstairs has been named Hospitality Employee of the Year in the Pride in Thanet Tourism Awards. Aram Rawf, part of the front-of-house team at the seaside retreat, also received the overall Pride in Thanet Tourism Award during the glittering ceremony, organised by Thanet District Council.
