The building, which survived both world wars with just minor damage, was designed and built by architect Joseph Kay in 1834.     The Sportsman in Seasalter has been named Best Pub in the GQ Food and Drink Awards 2016. The Shepherd Neame-owned pub, run by brothers Stephen and Phil Harris, picked up the title at an awards ceremony hosted in London by TV presenter Claudia Winkleman on Tuesday, April 26.

  • Ramblin' Man Fair Announces Partnership With Shepherd Neame

    Rock festival Ramblin’ Man Fair has announced it will be partnering with Shepherd Neame for this year’s event. It is the second year of the major two-day event, which will be returning to Maidstone’s Mote Park on July 23 and 24. Acts announced so far includes Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy, Thunder, Europe, Terrorvision, Procol Harum and Uriah Heep.
