This year marks the 50th Anniversary of Broadstairs Folk Week, and as lead sponsor Shepherd Neame is celebrating the occasion with a special limited edition beer. The Broadstairs 50th Folk Ale (3.9% abv) is a golden ale, boasting a sweet malt flavour from crystal and pale ale malts combined with citrus and pine notes provided by Tettnang, Mittlefruh, and Boadicea hops.

Faversham Steam Brewery’s Whitstable Bay collection is delighted to announce its sponsorship of this year’s WhitLit Festival.
It is the second annual literary festival to take place in the beer’s namesake coastal town, and starts on May 9.
This year’s event will feature talks by well-known authors including Kate Mosse, David Nicholls, Kate Adie, Penny Vincenzi, and Sandi Toksvig.

Kent brewer Shepherd Neame has signed a three-year sponsorship deal with local football club Canterbury City FC, who play in the premier division of the Southern Counties East Football League.
