Historic 19th century pub The Swan in Maidstone has reopened following an extensive £80,000 refurbishment.

Work has begun on a £210,000 transformation of The Four Fathoms in Herne Bay by brewery Shepherd Neame.
The historic town centre pub, which dates back to the mid-1800s, closed to the public at the start of October, and will reopen before the end of November.

Experienced chef and hotelier, Nick Steinmetz has taken on the White Lion in the picturesque village of Selling, near Faversham. The pub has now officially reopened following a month-long joint refurbishment project.
