The Four Fathoms is a traditional pub close to Herne Bay’s attractive seafront. Its name is a measurement of depth – 24 feet – the deepest sea off the Herne Bay coast.The pub has had a recent refurbishment, which included a full repaint inside and out, new flooring, a bar refit, and new décor and furnishings, giving a contemporary yet relaxed feel.

The Four Fathoms in Herne Bay celebrated its recent £210,000 transformation with a reopening event on Wednesday, January 20.The brewery has just completed a two-month refurbishment of the site, with an extensive programme of work including repainting the pub inside and out, installing new flooring, restructuring and refitting the bar counter and revamping the toilets.
