The Regency Tavern is a Brighton institution and is celebrated for its opulent decoration and warm welcome. So much so in fact that last year it featured in Vogue magazine’s Secret Address Book. Harking back to the splendour and glamour of Regency Brighton, the pub is decorated with fine furnishings, cherubs, paintings and ornate mirrors. Even the gents and ladies’ lavatories get in on the act with their sparkling walls and mirror balls.
To compliment the opulence of the decor, chef Robin prides himself on serving delicious fresh food. The Regency is also well known for its Sunday lunch which Robin prepares from locally sourced suppliers including Sussex Butcher of the year, Bramptons.
Landlord Paul says: “Why not join us for a drink or a meal? The Regency has a warm, cosy feel and we will make you very welcome. And on Sunday lunchtimes we have live piano music which starts at 1.30pm and adds to the warm atmosphere.”
