Tucked away at the back of the quiet, rural village of Broadoak outside Canterbury, the Golden Lion is a charming pub that offers delicious food, a large garden and a warm welcome. It is also an ideal stop for walkers in need of a little rest and relaxation after a venture into nearby Blean Woods.
A selection of fine and freshly prepared home made meals can be found at the Golden Lion. Delicious dishes such as steak and ale pie, pan fried duck breast, poached fillet of plaice, rib eye steak and pan fried seabass are just a few of the choices you can expect to find on the menu. The pub also offers a range of vegetarian dishes and produce comes from local allotments and growers wherever possible.
If you’re feeling festive, take a look at the Golden Lion’s Christmas menu which is available from 1 – 22nd December and is priced at £15.95 for two courses or £21.95 for three courses.
