This warm, friendly Pub has received numerous awards in the recent year, including Our “Heart of the Community” award for 2012 and Woking Best Bar None’s “Best Food Led Pub” and “Overall Best Bar None Winner”.

The pub has a rich heritage and is steeped in local history; the site of the pub has previously been used as a general store, village school, poor house and even the village ‘lock up’. It’s ideal for those with children and dogs with its large beer garden and children’s play area. Inside there are welcoming log fires and the pub runs monthly colouring competitions for children with prizes.

Theres always something going on at The Cricketers, there’s live Jazz music every Monday night and a pub quiz alternate Tuesdays and occasionally live music other nights of the week as well. The pub frequently caters for coffee mornings and has a Carvery for Sunday roast every week.

Theres also a separate area for private functions and the pub is happy to cater for any event from Weddings and Christenings to Wakes or Communions and BBQs or Buffets.
