Senior Brewer, Stewart Main has created a special beer in Shepherd Neame's Pilot Brewery to commemorate the anniversary of the death of Buddy Holly specifically for London pubs, the Betsey Trotwood, the Hoop & Grapes and the Rose and Crown* - Holly Hop Ale, a 4.1% American-style IPA.
The Betsey Trotwood, will be holding a celebration of Buddy Holly's life on 2nd February

The Salutation at Sandwich celebrates it’s centenary this year. To commemorate the event Dominic Parker from The Salutation came to the Brewery to brew a special beer with me in the Pilot Brewery.I designed a recipe that would produce a traditional, old style, full, malty flavour.
