Ben McFarland is renowned for his books on both domestic and international beer, plus his work as one half of the Thinking Drinkers. Three times beer writer of the year, his latest book Boutique Beer covers 500 of the world’s finest craft beers.
Multi-award winning Pete Brown is stepping out from his usual specialist subject – beer – and has penned his first book on cider, in conjunction with Bill Bradshaw. World’s Best Cider: Taste, Tradition and Terrior, from Somerset to Seattle looks at over 200 ciders and charts the history of what is currently one of the UK’s most popular drinks.
Both writers will be doing a book signing, talk and Q&A with the public from 6.30pm on Wednesday 25 September. (Please note, this is a free, non-ticketed event, so arrive early to avoid disappointment.)
