Top Honour for ‘One in a Million’ Hotel Employee

An employee at the Royal Albion Hotel in Broadstairs has been named Hospitality Employee of the Year in the Pride in Thanet Tourism Awards. Aram Rawf, part of the front-of-house team at the seaside retreat, also received the overall Pride in Thanet Tourism Award during the glittering ceremony, organised by Thanet District Council.

Pub of the Week: The Grove Ferry, Canterbury

This week’s pub is the incredible Grove Ferry Inn located in the Stodmarsh Nature Reserve, on the beautiful River Stour - just 7 minutes from historic Canterbury’s city centre.
