Geoff Rambler donates proceeds from his book to Combat Stress

November 12th saw Shepherd Neame chief executive, Jonathan Neame, hand over the proceeds from Geoff  Rambler’s (aka Geoff Ettridge) book Heroic Yomps to Combat Stress representative Michelle Campbell. 

Combat Stress is the UK’s leading charity that specialises in the treatment and support of British Armed Forces Veterans who have mental health problems, they currently are supporting over 5,000 Veterans aged from 20 to 101 are a vital lifeline to these men and women and their families. 
The book, which shows 27 walks around Kent between Shepherd Neame pubs, has been selling in the Shepherd Neame Visitor Centre, on line and in some Kent shops for £5.  Last week saw the official handover of the proceeds so far, a very respectable £1500.
