Preparations are underway for the 27th Faversham Hop Festival, taking place on Saturday, September 3 and Sunday, September 4. Shepherd Neame is proud to once again be the official partner for the free two-day event, which commemorates the golden days of hop picking in Kent.

Three Kent folk groups are teaming up for a one-off gig at The Old Brewery Store in Faversham to raise funds for the town’s Hop Festival.
Faversham’s own six-piece innovative folk band Green Diesel; Canterbury-based folk/pop acoustic duo High Tide; and The Narratones from the Isle of Sheppey, who perform modern rock with a vintage twist, will be performing on Saturday, February 21.

Britain’s oldest brewer Shepherd Neame was once again the official partner for this year’s Faversham Hop Festival on Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31.It was the 25th year of the free two-day event, which commemorates the golden days of hop picking in Kent.To mark the anniversary, staff from the Faversham-based brewery carried out a ceremonial rolling of a barrel of beer through the street
