Folk Concert to Raise Funds for Faversham Hop Festival

Three Kent folk groups are teaming up for a one-off gig at The Old Brewery Store in Faversham to raise funds for the town’s Hop Festival. Faversham’s own six-piece innovative folk band Green Diesel; Canterbury-based folk/pop acoustic duo High Tide; and The Narratones from the Isle of Sheppey, who perform modern rock with a vintage twist, will be performing on Saturday, February 21.

Celebrating 25 Years of Faversham Hop Festival

Preparations are underway for the 25thFaversham Hop Festival, taking place on Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31. Britain’s oldest brewer Shepherd Neame, based in the market town, is once again the official partner for the free two-day event, which commemorates the golden days of hop picking in Kent.
