Licensees Angie and Danny Irwin (pictured with Jonathan Neame) were commended for their warm welcome, excellent standards of food and drink and wide range of events and entertainment.

Asahi named best keg lager in the world

Asahi Super Dry has been voted the best keg lager in the world by a panel of experts at the Brewing Industry International Awards, the Oscars of the brewing industry. The Japanese lager, brewed under licence by Shepherd Neame in Faversham, Kent, won the title after a double-blind tasting by more than 30 leading brewers from around the globe.
